What is South Florida School of Real Estate?

South Florida School of Real Estate or SFSRE is a leading school in Florida that provides licensing and continuing education programs for real estate professionals. We’ve been serving the community since February 1999. 

What makes South Florida School of Real Estate different from other real estate schools?

We stand out because of our experienced Real Estate Specialist instructors with many years of industry expertise, our bilingual instruction, a wide range of courses including unique sales training programs like The Fearless Agent, The Productive Agent and flexible learning options (classroom, live streaming, online). We also offer business support services for agents and brokers.

Where are you located?

Our office is located at 121 Alhambra Plaza Suite 1000, Coral Gables, Florida 33134. We offer online courses for students throughout the United States.

What are your operating hours?

While our classes have specific schedules, you can call us or access our online platform 24/7 during the week to book classes or request information.

Who are your instructors?

Our instructors are Real Estate Specialists with many years of industry experience. They are subject matter experts and understand the needs of students. Our founder and CEO, Ivania Alvarado, is a licensed instructor (#ZH1003529), and Pedro Fraginals is also a licensed instructor (#ZH1002247).

Are your courses state-approved?

Yes, all our courses are approved by the DBPR (Department of Business and Professional Regulation) of the State of Florida. Our company’s license is #ZH1002481.

Do you provide training for real estate companies?

Absolutely. We design training programs for real estate firms that want to guide their agents in client acquisition, self-promotion, and the latest industry regulations.

Courses & Licensing

What types of courses do you offer?

We offer pre-licensing, post-licensing courses for sales associates and brokers, and Continue education and over 30 continuing education and self-improvement classes. We also provide sales training programs.

Do you offer online courses or only in-person?

We offer complete flexibility. You can take our courses in the classroom, via live streaming, or entirely online.

What is "The Fearless Agent"?

It’s a comprehensive and interactive training manual written by Ivania Alvarado, available in English and Spanish, designed for real estate agents and brokers who are starting out or want to refine their skills. It includes theory and live practice, such as cold calling

Do I need prior real estate experience to take a course?

No, we offer courses at all levels, from beginners to experienced professionals seeking continuing education or advanced training.

What is the minimum passing score for exams?
  • For pre-licensing courses, a 70% is required.
  • For post-licensing courses, 75% is requered.
  • And for continuing education, 80% is required.
What happens after I pass my exam?

Once you pass your exam with the required score, you will receive a certificate that validates your completion of the requirements for your license (pre-license, post-license, or continuing education) as a sales associate or broker.
